W00T.IN is a service for shorting URL's for example:
You want to send a Word document over the Internet to a co-worker, but it is too big for emailing, if that's the case you host it on a One Click hosting service like Rapidshare or Megaupload and you get an URL like this:
http://rapidshare.com/files/260342555/meeting.rar.html and your do not want to send such a big link over email, or IM.
You go to w00t.in and short the URL for getting one significally smaller like this:
http://w00t.in/yeq6x5

You need to have it in your favorites (IE) or in your Bookmarls (Firefox Chrome Safari) or in the equivalent on your browser. After having it, you just need to click the bookmark in website in order to get the shorted URL.
